St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara, the first Indian catholic saint(male) who lived only for a short span of 66 years from 10 February 1805 to 3 January 1871 did what many people together cannot achieve even during the course of many centuries. His life and message has been inspiring millions of people in the various stages of their life especially in the field of education. His visionary and daring movements elevated the education system from the clutches of caste and religion. Following the mission and vision of the founder, St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara, the CMI Congregation continues to inspire the students and strives to provide them with bright future through the ministry of education. Therefore, on the reminiscence of the 216th Birthday and 150th Death Anniversary of St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara, Christ College, Mysuru is organising various creative competitions during 8th - 10th February 2021 to pay our honour and admiration to this great Saint, through learning his life and message and propagating the same to inspire the people around us. The winners will be honoured with cash prize and mementos.
